The idea of starting a food truck and catering company stemmed from our passion for cooking and our desire to become entrepreneurs. In January 2021, we decided to use our government-issued stimulus checks to purchase our first food trailer.

We bought a big red trailer that was minimally equipped, with just a hood, a sink, and a window. With a dream and hard work, we added an oven, refrigerator, and tables. We painted the trailer ourselves in blue, black, and white, inspired by my husband’s favorite football team, the Detroit Lions. As a family, we spent several weekends preparing it

Grand Opening in Brandon, Florida, at Wheels and Accessories. We SOLD OUT that day and were inspired to continue. We sold in that area for three weeks before moving to the Pinellas County area.

We hosted a free community event, giving away plates of food to anyone who wanted them, and we saw record attendance that day.

Our greatest success has come from participating in Food Truck Events, Track Meets, and Football Games, which has also enabled us to expand our catering business. As people sample our food from the truck, they often inquire about how they can enjoy our delicious offerings at their own events and homes. This interest has significantly boosted our catering business, allowing us to cater for Luaus, Picnics, Wild West Events, Balls, and much more.

We will continue to try new menu items, respond to customer feedback, and adapt to changing market trends quickly. We are always looking to engage with the local community by participating in events, supporting local causes, and creating a positive presence, this is a passion that we will continue to do and use the food truck as a steppingstone to expand into other areas, such as opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant and increasing catering services.
